Chicken dinners! Learn to make 3 meals out of one chicken. You will learn how to butcher a whole chicken, prepare arroz con pollo with the thighs, saute the breasts with a mushroom cream sauce and make delicious chicken soup!
Each student will butcher one whole chicken and take home all of the food we make!

Learn to make fresh pasta, fresh basil pesto and authentic marinara. You will learn how to make pasta from scratch, just like an Italian!

Owner of Rocky's Market, Two Local Girls and Sundari Healing, Corinne Kinczel is a veteran in the food industry. She began her venture in the food world in 1997, opening a personal chef and catering business. In 2015, she opened Two Local Girls, which offers prepared foods and catering. She strongly believes in using organic, local and sustainable ingredients when creating her dishes.
In 2016, she acquired Rocky's Market, with her now-husband, Brady. The independent market, located in the Oakmore district of Oakland, also specializes in local and 100% organic produce amd sustainable meats. They carry a lot of produce, meats and flowers straight from local organic farms.
In 2020, Corinne and Brady expanded and opened a second market on the Oakland waterfront, in the new Brooklyn Basin development, with restaurant and events venue, where they held weekly shows supporting the local music and comedic scene! The Basin store closed August of 2022, as the business was too weather dependent.
At the Oakmore location, Corinne organizes community events, such as food trucks in the parking lot and a Mind, Body & Soul Fair.
We work with a select group of suppliers and producers who share our commitment to quality and sustainability. From free-range meats to organic produce, we ensure that every product we sell meets our high standards.
